linux-file-extents: Retrieve file fragmentation information under Linux

This is a package candidate release! Here you can preview how this package release will appear once published to the main package index (which can be accomplished via the 'maintain' link below). Please note that once a package has been published to the main package index it cannot be undone! Please consult the package uploading documentation for more information.

This package provides a simple wrapper around the Linux FIEMAP ioctl. It can be used to retrieve a complete list of all the extents of any given file, i.e. the area of the disk where the file is actually stored. This is similar to the filefrag command line tool provided by the e2fsprogs package.
