The Sparc NCG has bitrotted in 6.4, after large changes were made to the back end infrastructure. We don't have hardware at GHC HQ any more.

I can almost certainly arrange access to sparc linux and sparc solaris boxes if GHC HQ is interested.

Lack of access to machines is not the limiting factor, unfortunately. In fact, I have access to a Sparc machine (at Berlin) on which I debugged the threaded RTS problems recently.
