  This is a near-term release milestone.

  It is intended to support a stable release of CabalInstall and provide new features, bug fixes and improved QA.

  It is intended that all Setup.hs scripts that worked with the 1.2 series will continue to work. However other parts of the Cabal library API will change.

  This milestone is aimed for release with GHC-6.10.

  It will contain major internal API changes that is likely to break Setup.hs scripts. Hopefully it will include a redesigned hooks api and be based on a dependency framework.
