1549	New purely functional data structures/ containers library	dons		"The common containers library is in need of an overhaul. Faster structures, and useful structures, exist in the collections and edison library, but due to lack of manpower, these haven't been polished into a form that they can replace Data.Map and friends.

This project would seek to get a new containers library into place, with support for the structures implemented in Edison, with careful attention to benchmarking and testing.

The goal should be faster replacements for Data.Map and other purely functional structures.
