Firebird offers excellent concurrency, high performance, and powerful language support for stored procedures and triggers.

There exist bindings to utilise Firebird for several languages and frameworks. This project would implement a good Haskell interface to Firebird, to allow us to build Haskell applications with Firebird for storage.
