    1 Currently there are quite a few ATOM/RSS aggregators which are both stable and featureful enough for managing/handling a big number of subscriptions and to allow users read the news efficiently. Moreover, even some very featureful aggregators (such as !BlogBridge) suffer from problems with parsing/presenting unicode feeds, etc. Also not all aggregators are available on all platforms.

    3 The idea is to write a decent aggregator application, both stable and flexible enough for an experienced user. 
     3The idea is to write a decent aggregator application, both stable and flexible enough for an experienced user. It is possible to create an optional interface to Google Reader in the application (if the user uses Google Reader, he can access his account and view Google Reader subscriptions).
