Description

This extension extends the mechanism of input attachments to allow access to framebuffer attachments that are used both as input and as color or depth/stencil attachments from one fragment to the next, in rasterization order, without explicit synchronization.

If the PhysicalDeviceRasterizationOrderAttachmentAccessFeaturesEXT structure is included in the pNext chain of the PhysicalDeviceFeatures2 structure passed to getPhysicalDeviceFeatures2, it is filled in to indicate whether each corresponding feature is supported. PhysicalDeviceRasterizationOrderAttachmentAccessFeaturesEXT can also be used in the pNext chain of DeviceCreateInfo to selectively enable these features.
